Kick and sub suggestions
Most trance kicks have their fundamental between about 40 and 65 Hz. Tuning it to the root or fifth of your key stops the kick and bass fighting.

Why tune your kick?
A kick drum has a pitch, even if it's only a short thump. When that pitch clashes with your bassline, the low end sounds muddy and loses punch. Tuning the kick's fundamental to the root or fifth of your key lets the kick and sub lock together.
Load a spectrum analyser on your kick, find the loudest low peak, and compare it with this chart. Then retune the sample or set your kick synth's pitch to the nearest in-key note. In A minor, A1 (55 Hz) and E1 (41.2 Hz) are the usual targets.
